D2.4. Report on Comparative Findings and Assessment of Risk Factors to Democracy Quality

The report presenting the risk factors and how populism might impact the quality of democracy has been released as a collaborative effort of the Paris-Londron University of Salzburg (PLUS) and the Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) teams: Reinhard Heinisch (PLUS), Martin Dolezal (PLUS), Marco Fölsch (PLUS) and Ruth Meyer (MMU).

Agent-based models allow for new ways of assessing the impact of causal factors on the micro-, meso-, and macro-levels and for conducting counterfactual analyses that provide new insights into the development of populism and thus – at least indirectly – into risk factors to the quality of democracy.

For those interested in reading more details about the innovative results presented by the PLUS and MMU teams, please consult the report HERE.
